Duvet cover Blossom by Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum is based on the painting "Almond Blossom." Large, flowering branches against a clear blue sky - the almond blossom was one of Vincent''s favourite subjects. He created the painting in honour of the birth of his godson, who is named after him. These early flowering trees announce the arrival of spring and symbolise young life with their branches. Van Gogh was inspired by Japanese printmaking, which is visible in the sharp contours and composition of the tree in the painting. The Blossom duvet cover chose a fresh blue-grey background with a canvas print instead of the traditional blue sky. The back of the duvet cover has a plain blue-grey colourHigh Quality The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton satin, 220 TC. The total lenght of the duvet cover is 260 cm. This is extra long so the duvet cover can easily be tucked under the mattress to prevent cold feet. The duvet cover can be washed up to 60 degrees, is suitable for the tumble dryer and can be ironed.
